Depending on how you use Jiu Jitsu Connect, we may collect:

• Account Information: Your name, email address, and other information necessary to create and maintain your account.
• Profile and Gym Information: Your display name, profile information, gym membership, role within your gym, and related account settings.
• User-Generated Content: Information you voluntarily submit through Jiu Jitsu Connect, including messages, announcements, discussion posts, comments, photos, videos, competition registrations, event responses, and other content.
• Usage and Technical Information: Limited device, diagnostic, security, and usage information that may be necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

We may use information collected through Jiu Jitsu Connect to:

• Create and maintain your account.
• Connect you with your approved gym community.
• Provide announcements, schedules, events, messaging, discussions, media, and other app features.
• Allow authorized members of the same gym to communicate and share content.
• Provide customer support.
• Maintain the security and reliability of the platform.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent misuse, fraud, harassment, or violations of our Terms of Service.
• Improve the functionality and user experience of Jiu Jitsu Connect.

Jiu Jitsu Connect is designed as a multi-gym platform. Each gym operates within its own private community.

Members of one gym are not intended to have access to the private content or member information of another gym.

Gym owners and authorized administrators may have additional access to information and content associated with their gym for purposes such as membership management, moderation, communication, and support.

Jiu Jitsu Connect platform administrators may access information when reasonably necessary to operate the service, provide technical support, investigate reported problems, enforce our policies, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.

Jiu Jitsu Connect allows users to communicate and share content with members of their gym.

You are responsible for content you submit and should only share information, photos, videos, or other material that you have the right to share.

Users should not post unlawful, threatening, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate content.

Jiu Jitsu Connect and authorized gym administrators may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users or enforce platform policies.

Users may report inappropriate content or behavior through the reporting tools provided within the app or by contacting support.

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may be shared with:

• Members of your gym when necessary to provide the community and communication features you choose to use.
• Your gym owner and authorized gym administrators.
• Service providers that help us operate, host, secure, maintain, or support Jiu Jitsu Connect.
• Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the platform.

Service providers that process personal information on our behalf are expected to protect that information appropriately and use it only for authorized purposes.

If you choose to upload photos, videos, or other media, that content may be visible to authorized members of your gym depending on where you choose to share it.

Do not upload media containing another person unless you have the appropriate permission or right to share it.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Jiu Jitsu Connect, maintain security, comply with applicable legal obligations, and fulfill the purposes described in this policy.

Users may initiate deletion of their account through the account or Settings area of the app.

When an account is deleted, personal information and user-generated content associated with that account will be deleted in accordance with our deletion procedures, except where information must be retained for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or regulatory purposes.

Some information may remain temporarily in secure backups before being permanently removed.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information.

You may:

• Review or update certain profile information.
• Request access to your personal information.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal information.
• Manage applicable device permissions through your device settings.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information. However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and should notify us if they believe their account has been accessed without authorization.

Jiu Jitsu Connect may be used by gyms whose programs include minors. Parents, legal guardians, and gym administrators are responsible for ensuring that accounts and content involving minors are created and used appropriately and in accordance with applicable laws and gym policies.

Where parental or guardian consent is required by applicable law, the appropriate consent must be obtained before a minor uses the service or personal information about the minor is submitted.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.

Continued use of Jiu Jitsu Connect after an updated policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgment of the updated policy where permitted by law.

You agree to use Jiu Jitsu Connect lawfully and respectfully.

You may not:

• Harass, threaten, bully, or impersonate another person.
• Post unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content.
• Upload content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
• Attempt to access another gym's private information or accounts.
• Attempt to interfere with, damage, exploit, or circumvent the security of Jiu Jitsu Connect.
• Use the platform for spam, fraud, or other unauthorized purposes.

You retain responsibility for content you submit to Jiu Jitsu Connect.

By posting content, you grant Jiu Jitsu Connect the limited rights necessary to store, process, display, and transmit that content for the purpose of operating and providing the service.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit content you upload.

Jiu Jitsu Connect is intended to provide private, respectful communication between gyms and their members.

Users may report inappropriate content or behavior. Jiu Jitsu Connect and authorized gym administrators may investigate reports and remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when appropriate.

Users may also be provided with tools to block other users where applicable.

Individual gyms are responsible for managing their communities, including member access, announcements, schedules, events, and gym-specific content.

Jiu Jitsu Connect provides the technology that enables these communities but does not control every communication or piece of content posted by individual users.

We may suspend or terminate access to Jiu Jitsu Connect when an account violates these Terms, threatens the safety or security of other users, misuses the platform, or when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations.

Jiu Jitsu Connect is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.

Jiu Jitsu Connect is a communication and community-management platform and is not responsible for the instruction, supervision, training practices, events, or activities conducted by individual gyms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jiu Jitsu Connect and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from use of or inability to use the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these Terms periodically. The date at the top of this page will indicate when the Privacy Policy and Terms were last updated.

Continued use of Jiu Jitsu Connect following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
